OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for a Hygiene Team Members to join our Forestville site. The Hygiene Team Member is an integral member of the Manufacturing team. The incumbent will make a strong contribution to a high performing production team and team culture within Goodman Fielder.

Responsibilities
  • Report all accidents and incidents.
  • Report any unsafe work areas practices.
  • Reduction in SI Zero LTI.
  • Co-operate with and participate in all programs that ensure a safe and healthier working environment, for example, legislative required training (LOTO, manual handling, noise awareness, chemical usage & handling etc)
  • Complete all cleaning and hygiene activities as per the site Master Cleaning and Sanitation schedule.
  • Keep timely and accurate records of all cleaning and sanitation activity.
  • Ensure cleaning activities comply with all food safety and quality procedures i.e. loose item controls, foreign material controls and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and tools i.e. floor scrubbers, high pressure cleaners, foamers, foggers to high level of operation and report any deficiencies to the Maintenance team as required.
  • Participate in all mandatory training relating to site Food Safety, Quality, cleaning and hygiene and chemical handling.
  • Ensure compliance with required Quality, GMP, BRC, Customer Specifications (e.g. Coles; Woolworths), Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures.
  • Assist as required with the development of Standard Operating Procedures related to cleaning and hygiene of the plant, equipment and general plant.
  • Report any equipment failures to the Manufacturing or Maintenance teams where there is potential for physical contamination or potential downtime
