Le Dental Care of Elk Grove - 9575 Laguna Springs Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95758 Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays & Friday: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, skilled in clinical procedures, and committed to building strong patient relationships. You will play a key role in promoting oral health and supporting the overall treatment plan for each patient. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Care & Preventive Treatment * Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planning * Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting * Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans * Apply sealants, fluoride, and desensitizing agents Patient Education * Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and long-term oral hygiene habits * Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance related to oral health Treatment Coordination & Documentation * Review and update medical histories and patient records * Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning * Document clinical findings accurately in patient management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Infection Control & Equipment Care * Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines * Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and treatment rooms QUALIFICATIONS * State Licensed Dental Hygienist * Current CPR/BLS certification * Proficiency in Patient Management Software * Strong communication and patient care skills * Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a team environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods * Must be willing to travel to Stockton location if needed
