MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering.
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer in at least one of the above disciplines.
  • 5+ years proven design work experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
  • 5+ years proven design work experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
  • 5+ years proven work experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
  • Must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.

JOB DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Include but not limited to and must have proven experience and ability to do with no training):

  • Provide support engineering services to assigned Engineering Teams.
  • Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&IDs; Control Logics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design; Instrument Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.
  • Travel off Site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.
