QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation Engineering / Control Systems / Electronics.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a power plant, oil & gas, or process industry.
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and SCADA systems.
• Experience with control valves, pressure/temperature/flow transmitters, analyzers, and field instrumentation.
• Familiar with international standards (ISA, IEC, etc.)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-temperature environment.
• Proficiency in using test and calibration tools.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on instrumentation and control systems such as transmitters, sensors, control valves, PLCs, DCS, and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer’s specifications and plant requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control schematics.
• Assist in commissioning, testing, and start-up activities of control systems.
• Support plant shutdown and turnaround activities as per maintenance schedules.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, calibration records, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure work is carried out in compliance with plant safety policies and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams for maintenance and fault analysis.
• Monitor control loops and suggest improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
