Description There is an opening for an Instrumentation/Electrical Supervisor in the Maintenance department. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the direct supervision of journeyman level craft workers and trainees in the maintenance & repair of equipment, plus any capital alternations needed to meet proper operation and regulatory standards for production, safety, quality, environmental, and housekeeping in a cost-effective manner. Responsibilities Reviews job schedule daily to provide proper equipment, procedures, and training to ensure safety. Conducts safety, housekeeping, facility, utility, and equipment inspections. Assigns tasks to personnel, matching work to be accomplished and skills required to achieve most effective utilization of manpower; ensures work is conducted in accordance with established policies. Interfaces with other department personnel, coordinating communications to achieve maximum resource benefits for the facility. Coordinates efforts with Operations to minimize shutdown time and ensure quality of work. Investigates, reports, and makes corrective recommendations concerning accidents and serious incidents. Requirements A minimum of ten (5) years of plant maintenance experience on a journeyman level, including three (3) years of supervisory experience; or completion of a college degree in electrical or a related discipline, plus a minimum of three (3) years of plant maintenance experience. Knowledge of industrial electrical/instrumentation is required. Good verbal and written communications skills. Sound human relations skills. Schedule is Monday through Friday day shift, plus callouts as required to support production. Salary DOE.
