ABOUT THE ROLE

A key role at our Asset East – Talinga Operation’s reporting to the IE Supervisor is responsible for providing critical technical support for the commissioning and ongoing maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as expertly troubleshooting and fault-finding. You’ll also play a role in developing key documentation such as BOMs and SOPs, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Review/assist with maintenance activities and methodology
• Review tooling and facilities for maintenance activities and provide recommendations
• Maintain a high-level focus on safety and the environment
• Provide technical assistance for maintenance activities.
• Assist the maintenance team to meet overall objectives.
• Assist in commissioning activities as required
• Active participation in work permit and JSA activities to ensure a safe work environment for all employees during commissioning tasks
• Hands on Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of various types of Electrical/Instrument equipment (EEHA)
