Description

Overview We are looking for a Business/System Analyst to bridge the gap between business users, solution teams, and vendors by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and delivering system enhancements. The role is responsible for preparing functional specifications, supporting product and system configuration, managing testing activities, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will also play a key role in issue analysis, stakeholder communication, and project coordination throughout the SDLC. Responsibilities Gather and analyze business and system requirements from stakeholders. Conduct feasibility studies and investigate user-reported issues. Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Specifications. Analyze system impact and configure product or system changes based on business requirements. Develop test plans, execute system testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables. Plan and manage project and enhancement timelines to ensure timely completion. Collaborate with business users, solution teams, and vendors to deliver projects and system enhancements successfully. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks when necessary. Perform issue analysis, prepare findings, and recommend appropriate solutions. Raise and coordinate data extraction requests to support root cause analysis. Apply business and system knowledge to support areas such as product configuration, claims, processing, finance, insurance, or data migration. Contribute to continuous process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance existing systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role. Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional specification documentation. Hands-on knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system implementation projects. Experience coordinating testing activities, including test planning, system testing, and UAT. Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and vendors effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, automation tools) and knowledge of AI/ML concepts is an advantage. Experience in data migration projects, including data mapping, data reconciliation, and data cleansing, is an advantage. Insurance industry experience is preferred. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
