Description

Lead the Line. Empower the Team. Drive Results.
At Fortune Brands Innovations, we’re shaping the future of high-quality, precision manufacturing—and we’re looking for a Production Team Leader based in our Spray Cell to help us deliver on that promise. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on involvement with day-to-day production and frontline leadership of your team to ensure targets are hit and quality is never compromised.
This is the ideal opportunity for a proactive, people-focused leader with a strong manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Providing direction, motivation, and support to your production team to deliver against KPIs for safety, quality, output, and cost
  • Actively working within the production area while balancing leadership responsibilities
  • Conducting team briefings at the start of each shift—highlighting priorities, sharing KPI performance, and resolving issues
  • Ensuring your team is production-ready at the start of shift, including pre-start checks and addressing any staffing or equipment issues promptly
  • Planning and organising labour resources to deliver the production schedule effectively
  • Working cross-functionally with management, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive improvements
  • Upholding health & safety and quality standards in line with company policies
  • Identifying issues affecting equipment or performance and taking ownership for implementing corrective actions

What You’ll Already Have:

Essential:

  • A proven track record in a similar supervisory or team leader role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong people leadership skills and the ability to manage performance and development
  • In-depth knowledge of health & safety and quality systems
  • Results-driven mindset with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with IT literacy (Microsoft Office and production systems)
  • The confidence to lead from the front, take responsibility, and influence positive change
  • Working with automated control systems and understanding their role in production
  • Experience working in casting or ceramics environments (highly beneficial)
