About the job The IAM and Security Operations Engineer is a pivotal role within Allianz Technology, responsible for managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security operations across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. This position acts as the primary customer interface for all Allianz CEE operating entities. The engineer will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents while managing access and identity across various locations in collaboration with shared services IF&IS teams. What you do Develop, implement, and maintain strategies to enhance the organization's security posture, including proactive threat detection, incident response, and access management. Collaborate with a team of senior SecOps and IAM engineers to deliver value to the business. Partner with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement security controls. Oversee the monitoring and analysis of security events to promptly identify and respond to security incidents. Manage access to company systems, ensuring appropriate permissions and controls are in place. Stay informed about emerging threats and security technologies, recommending enhancements to practices. Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. What you bring Bachelor's (BSc), Master's (MSc), or equivalent experience in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering). Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office (Excel), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Strong technical knowledge of IT applications, networks, and infrastructure components; basic database and LDAP knowledge; proficiency in data management, SQL scripting, system interfaces/integration, Windows/Linux scripting; basic Python, Java, VB skills are welcomed. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks in a dynamic environment. Experience in managing vulnerability and toxicity trends. Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical application.
