We are currently seeking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect to strengthen our Digital Identity -team. In this role, you will be responsible for the IAM architecture and its development within DNA’s extensive and technically complex IT environment.

YOUR KEY JOB DESCRIPTION
As a product owner you will be working as part of the Digital Identity team and your key areas of responsibility will be:
As an IAM Architect, you will lead DNA’s IAM architecture work and development. You will be responsible for the ownership of the IAM concept and its continuous development – ensuring that the solutions serve the business, meet security requirements, and evolve in line with technological changes.
In your role, you will design IAM architecture for the future and guide necessary changes at the system, process, and operational model levels in collaboration with the IAM team. Additionally, you will guide and support implementations that align with the current architecture in cooperation with stakeholders. You will act as an IAM expert and a guiding figure: promoting awareness of the significance of upcoming implementations and advancing development initiatives in close collaboration with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
You can identify, articulate, and model risks, as well as designing solutions that effectively protect business-critical systems in a changing threat environment.
We are looking for a new colleague with a relevant education (at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge) and with passion and experience on IAM.
Success in this role requires a broad understanding of identity and access management, as well as the ability to combine technical expertise with strong communication skills and strategic thinking. You have prior experience in similar roles within large and complex IT environments, and you can view the big picture from both detailed and business benefit perspectives.
We expect you to have:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
Excellent communication skills in English are necessary, along with a good command of Finnish and a willingness to learn more. An understanding of the importance of security and the E2E thinking model is crucial.
Experience in programming, software architecture, cloud platforms, or container technologies will be considered an advantage. Proficiency in development management tools and a strong grasp of Agile methodologies are appreciated. An understanding of security and data protection principles, such as cybersecurity principles and regulations like GDPR and NIS2, from the perspective of user data protection and identification, will also be considered a plus.
