Job Description We are seeking a strong Mid-Level IAM Consultant to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations, access governance, and security initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing user identities, provisioning access, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and working across multiple IAM platforms and enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working from the office 4 days per week. Office location: Gurgaon, India. Responsibilities: Perform user lifecycle management activities, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, and account maintenance. Administer access across enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, Okta, SailPoint, Exchange, and other in-house or third-party applications. Support access governance processes, including access reviews, audit evidence collection, segregation of duties, and compliance activities. Manage and troubleshoot authentication and remote access solutions, including MFA/2FA technologies such as Duo or RSA. Work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Business teams to support IAM-related initiatives and operational requests. Ensure all access requests and changes follow established policies, procedures, approval workflows, and security standards. Support onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and privileged access management processes. Contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational optimization initiatives. Create and maintain documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles. Provide timely updates, reporting, and metrics related to IAM operations and service delivery. Participate in incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities related to identity and access issues. Support projects involving cloud identity, federation, application integrations, and IAM modernization initiatives. Qualifications Nice to Have Experience with IAM automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting). Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. Exposure to cloud security and modern identity technologies. Security certifications such as Security+, SC-300, Okta Certified Professional, or SailPoint certifications.. Additional Information 4-7 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Information Security, or Infrastructure Support roles. Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), LDAP, Okta, SailPoint IdentityIQ, or similar IAM platforms. Experience managing access within Windows environments, Exchange administration, NTFS permissions, and distributed file systems. Familiarity with access governance, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), audit requirements, and compliance frameworks such as SOX or SSAE16. Experience with MFA/2FA technologies such as Duo, RSA, or similar remote access solutions. Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing/workflow management tools. Basic understanding of networking, cloud technologies, and authentication protocols. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux command-line operations is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field is preferred.
