JOB DESCRIPTION

As an IAM Lead, you lead IAM advisory and solution architecture across Active Directory, Azure AD, and federation services. The lead will drive organization-wide IAM strategy including Privileged Access Management and Single Sign-On in the client environment and will align IAM governance with Client IT architecture. We are currently hiring for this role in Sydney / Brisbane . Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to either of these locations.

Identity & Access Governance

  • Lead the design and implementation of IAM frameworks across MS environments
  • Oversee access provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews
  • Ensure compliance with IAM policies, procedures, best practices and external regulatory requirements

Technical Oversight

  • Manage IAM tools and platforms, including integration with Active Directory, Azure AD, and other identity providers
  • Identify and mitigate IAM-related risks
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure secure identity lifecycle management

Transition & Steady-State Operations

  • Drive IAM strategy during transition phases, ensuring smooth handover to steady-state operations
  • Support the development of Job descriptions and BOQ staffing alignment for IAM roles

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Delivery leads, Infra & security leads, and client stakeholders to align IAM initiatives with business goals.
  • Participate in internal interviews and candidate evaluations for IAM roles
  • Mentor and manage IAM professionals, fostering collaboration and performance

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of experience in IAM, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Certifications such as CIAM, CIMP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing IAM within Managed Services environments is a plus.
