We are seeking an IB English teacher to guide students in mastering language skills and deepening their engagement with literature.

• Teach IB English across the MYP and DP programmes.
• Develop lesson plans that integrate English language skills with appreciation of literature.
• Prepare students for IB assessments in English, including orals, essays and exams.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic inquiry through English and Literature.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in professional duties as necessary outside of the scope of the school day (e.g. Field trips, professional development on weekends as needed, and after school meetings as required)

• Lead/coach an after school CCA (co-curricular activity)Contribute to school continuous improvement by being a member of assigned committee or work group

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or Education
• Prior teaching experience in IB MYP and DP English courses.
• Strong communication and classroom management skillsPassion for inspiring students to excel in English and Literature.
