About the job: Responsibilities As part of the Export & Agency finance team, the successful candidate will be supporting the development of our franchise in Asia, by arranging, structuring and executing complex large-scale Export & Agency finance mandates (transactions covered by ECAs, Multilaterals and private insurers) with corporates, public sector entities and project finance structures. The candidate will join a team that covers both the outbound business of Asian ECAs (Sinosure, KEXIM, K-Sure, NEXI and JBIC) and inbound business of Asian borrowers and will be actively engaged on both the origination, execution and monitoring of such transactions. The candidate will have principal responsibilities comprising the following: Develop the required marketing materials to pitch, set up pricing, elaborate commercial offers Preparation of Information Memos and Lender Presentations for lead role opportunities and coordination of bank meetings Analysis of projects (feasibility, risks); identification of key issues and proposal of improvements to achieve successful financing. Elaborate risk proposals detailing the underlying transaction structure and defend and discuss with risk teams Engage with ECAs, Multilaterals and private insures in the approval process. Development of financing documentation (contracts) and management of insurance policies in collaboration with Legal services and/or external law firms Negotiation with borrowers, exporters and financing institutions related to the terms & conditions applicable to the transaction and financial document clauses. Support on the monitoring of such deals over the life of the transaction Requirements Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Export & Agency finance Proven experience in winning and executing large scale mandates and/or lead arranging positions with main ECAs and Multilateral Agencies Knowledge of ECA project finance structures is highly valuable Business School/University degree in economics or business administration, law, or engineering Preferably international working experience Fluency in English, other languages also valued, specifically Spanish, Korean and/or Japanese Personal: o Structured and organized, strong analytical skills. o Well balanced team player o International mindset o Goal oriented individual with initiative and leadership o Client focus o Lateral thinker who likes to come up with outside-the-box-solutions.
