Job Title: IBM DataStage Developer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled IBM DataStage Developer with strong experience in SQL development and hands-on proficiency in Databricks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust data pipelines and ETL solutions using IBM DataStage, integrating seamlessly with modern cloud-based data platforms like Databricks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in IBM DataStage (Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, Sequencers).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or ANSI SQL).
• 2+ years of experience with Databricks, including PySpark or Scala for data processing.
• Experience working with large datasets in cloud or hybrid data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and performance tuning.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Design and develop ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned SQL scripts.
• Integrate DataStage pipelines with Databricks and other cloud-based big data platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other developers to understand data requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot performance and data issues.
• Maintain documentation for data workflows, technical design, and ETL processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
