Overview:

• We have a permanent role for a Java Developer. Please find below the job role and responsibilities. The role pays between £50k-£55k per annum. The job incumbent would need to have right to work in the UK.
• Sr resource – 5+yr exp in below
• Proficiency in WebSphere Application Server administration.
• Familiarity with IBM MQ and message queuing concepts.
• Familiarity in Oracle
• Experience in BizTalk support - including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration tasks will be a big advantage
• Experience in scripting languages such as shell etc.. as the app is running on RHEL
• Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and system administrators.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot application issues across the entire technology stack.
• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors in case of application issues, facilitating timely resolution and ensuring smooth operation.
• communication skills to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of service now for incident, problem, and change management.
• add an advantage: domain knowledge in corporate actions
• Java versions 8, 11 or 17.
• Microservices with spring Framework, including Spring Boot, spring Cloud, and Spring Security
• Design and develop RESTful and soap services.
• Containerization and orchestration like Kubernetes OpenShift Docker, Jenkins.
• Version control and build tools such as Git (GitHub), Maven, and Gradle.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
