Description
Industrial Cleaning Labourer Pitbull Energy Services, is seeking Industrial Cleaning Labourers to support operations at industrial plant and facility sites. These roles are ideal for individuals with exposure to plant environments—including industrial, janitorial, or site support roles—who are reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in active industrial settings. For candidates interested, there may also be opportunities to support railcar cleaning operations, depending on project needs and operational requirements. Training Information * Initial training will take place between March and April 2026, and include site orientation, safety requirements, and task-specific instruction to prepare workers for industrial cleaning activities at plant and facility sites, with work expected to begin in May, 2026. * Training may also prepare successful candidates for railcar cleaning assignments, where applicable. What You’ll Do * Assist with industrial cleaning activities at plant sites, facilities, and field locations * Support industrial cleaning operations using equipment such as vacuum units, high-pressure equipment, steamers, and combo units (training provided where applicable) * Perform cleaning of tanks, vessels, separators, pipelines, and other industrial equipment * Prepare work areas, assist with equipment setup, and complete clean-up following job completion * Complete required safety documentation, participate in toolbox talks, and follow job-specific hazard controls * Adhere to all site-specific safety rules, permits, and procedures * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, environmental awareness, and professionalism * Work safely in physically demanding, active industrial environments, including outdoor and variable weather conditions * Take direction from site leads and supervisors while performing assigned duties at client facilities * Where assigned, support railcar cleaning operations, including interior and exterior cleaning of railcars in controlled industrial environments This role requires the ability to perform physically demanding work in active industrial environments. Candidates must be able to: * Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis * Perform tasks such as shoveling, hose handling, and equipment support * Bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as required by the job * Stand and work for extended periods of time * Work outdoors and in variable weather conditions * Work safely around industrial equipment and active operations What We’re Looking For * Grade 12 Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalency is preferred. * Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence, along with a clean 5-year abstract is preferred. * Previous experience working in an industrial or plant-based environment, in any capacity that required following site safety rules, permits, and procedures, such as: * Oil & gas processing plants * Industrial facilities or terminals * Refineries or upgrader sites * Gas plants or compressor stations * Industrial maintenance, janitorial, or site support roles * Industrial turnaround or shutdown work * Large-scale manufacturing or processing facilities * Familiarity with industrial site expectations, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, controlled access points, safe work permits, and safe work practices is required. * Reliable, punctual, and available for scheduled shifts, including potential overtime * Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset * Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in industrial settings * Comfortable working around industrial equipment, active operations, and controlled work zones * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Clear communication skills and willingness to follow procedures and direction Safety & Site Access Requirements * Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test, in accordance with the client site access requirements is required * Ability to obtain and maintain the following safety certifications is required: * H2S Alive * CSO (Common Safety Orientation) * Confined Space Entry and Monitor * Criminal Record Check may be required.
