SUMMARY: This position will have the responsibility to provide support to the iCARE program's internal efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. * Plan, research, implement, and evaluate community related initiatives and events * Participate in the development of communications and related documentation that educates and advances employee awareness of iCARE program activities * Assist with managing and promoting all iCARE programs * Increase internal participation in iCARE related activities * Serve as a liaison between the iCARE council, iCARE ambassadors and bank personnel. * Work as a member of the team, willingly providing backup support for co-workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals. * Perform other duties as assigned * Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). * Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. * Identifies and reports suspicious activity. EDUCATION Associate's Degree or 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Excellent organization skills (able to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and execute) and communication skills (oral and written) * Ability to produce well thought‐out, professional correspondence * Proficient in all MS Office applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Excellent relationship builder; able to demonstrate a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy with all internal and external stakeholders * Must also demonstrate ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information * Ambition, a strong work ethic, and an earnest willingness to learn * Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment is a must * Ability to effectively collaborate and work in a team-based environment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * Candidates residing in locations within BankUnited's footprint may be given preference.
