Description SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Hours may vary based on operational need, some holidays are required) Pays $54,766.40 - $66,372.80 annually DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set) Location: 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Driver Supervisor is responsible for supervising all driver personnel and, when assigned, Workforce Development Job Training Program trainees working in inventory areas. This role oversees the shipping, loading, tracking, and delivery of food and supply orders supporting Food Services, iCater Enterprises, and Pine Street Inn programs. The Driver Supervisor works closely with the Inventory Supervisor, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and Operations leadership to ensure order accuracy, food safety compliance, and timely delivery to internal and external customers. This position is also responsible for maintaining delivery documentation and databases, conducting quality and accuracy checks, and producing operational reports. When needed, the Driver Supervisor supports inventory operations, including food and supply tracking from receipt through issuance. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Pine Street Inn policies, Food Services standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Requirements EDUCATION / TRAINING: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read English proficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills ServSafe Food Handler Certification required Eligibility to be an authorized driver (valid Massachusetts driver’s license with no more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years) KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in storeroom, inventory, and/or dispatch/routing organization and supervision Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict management skills
