EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

We are searching for a visionary leader to build and execute our Digital Marketing and Media strategy, spearhead transformation projects to enhance future capabilities, manage agency relations for a competitive advantage, maintain relationships with global digital partners for added value, and drive the performance of digital marketing and media across the global/BU.

  • Min +12 years marketing/media experience is required
  • Track record in managing complexity and multiple media projects within limited timeframe
  • Local media experience with a reasonable amount of campaign execution, KPI tracking, and media deals & media buying experience is preferred
  • Experience in working in analytical role and comfortable using analytical tools
  • Experience in driving business value from media strategy, media deals & partnerships
  • Passion for the social & digital world and it’s implication on business
  • Excellent organization communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Global marketing experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Ice cream experience is preferred, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Media & Digital Performance Director for the Europe Ice Cream business, you will play a pivotal role in developing and unlocking capabilities, alongside crafting effective media strategies. You will be the ‘glue’ of media teams across EU who oversees total plans & performance. Your responsibilities will include ensuring BMI effectiveness, Asset creation ratios %, media budget compliances, optimization to create effective EU&ANZ media strategies & frameworks, fostering innovative content creation and ensuring the alignment of digital marketing initiatives with our business goals. This position is ideal for those who envision themselves as business owners, overseeing media spends, performance, capabilities take them to the next step. Your expertise in rapid experimentation across channels and product development will be key in determining the most scalable and effective ways to grow our brands within the business context.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guiding media budgets for P&L: Inputting, consolidating, aligning with LT and local teams on YTD / YTG media spends to deliver P&L and Asset creation ratio %.
  • Media budget compliances: Ensuring B-smart compliance on brand/campaign level and orchestrating countries accordingly.
  • BMI effectiveness: Be the guardian of BMI (advertising part) and allocated charges. Delivering targeted working media / non-working media. Deliver against ACR% for BU total and key countries by putting targets on Asset creation, SWOP, and asset deployment budgets. Constantly benchmark countries, top brands to each other for further optimization.
  • Measuring performance & effectiveness: continuous (live and PLE) reporting on Digital Marketing & Media KPIs. Measure success of the campaigns on brand level, ROIs, also running MMM studies, cross media analysis.
  • Building frameworks for audience segmentation, Media Investment Strategy, Content Creation Engine, and Others Say Framework.
  • Delivering strategic thought leadership on digital capabilities, including Data Strategy, AI, Social Selling, Gaming, Influencer Strategy, Retail Media, Performance Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Transformation with AI transforming high cost & effort workstreams with AI; such as TAG adaptations, digital asset creative optimization, audience optimization, data collection on EU level, creating newsletters to engage with the brand community.
  • Pan-EU opportunities; Seeking high scale pan EU opportunities with key partners (Tiktok, Meta, Google, Twitch, Netflix, amazon, HBO) and media partnerships on brand collabs such licensing agreements, TV partnerships/sponsorships, media barters, influencers deal, gaming agreements or retail media deals (aldi/lidl etc) on EU level.
  • Disruptive Media: Enrich the plans by bringing magic with media first/disruptive media ideas such as offline/online connect, multiscreen engagement, gamification, connected outdoors, geo-location techs etc.
