Description As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will deliver the magic that is the Clementine's experience for our new guests, ensuring a successful opening of our Columbia parlor. Exclusive availability needed on August 1 to begin training to be acquainted with our operations and team. POSITION SUMMARY Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum), create magical and memorable moments in Parlor for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors. Part-Time or Seasonal Hourly Tip eligible KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Guest Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes. Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques. Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments. Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked. Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft. Assist with other tasks as needed Requirements Previous experience in retail or food service preferred Food handlers permit or ServSafe certification preferred Flexible work schedules including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings. Ability to operate POS Basic math skills Strong communication and guest service skills
