Weekend Position Saturdays 10-7 Sunday 10-7 (additional hours as trade builds, Thursday & Fridays & school holidays etc)

The Riverside Inn is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Ice Rink Attendants to join our team . As an Ice Rink Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our ice rink visitors

• Assists with ice rink opening and closing procedures.
• Ability to skate at competent/safe level an advantage
• Including maintaining synthetic ice (no prior experience needed full training will be provided), moving rink-side equipment into place, and preparing skates for use.
• Assists with skate shoe rentals and returns them to the skate rack following usage
• Performs skate sharpening duties that comply with all related safety requirements (training provided).
• Safely operates the Ice resurface (training provided).
• Assists in crowd control, enforcing rink rules on the ice.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of the ice rink area.
• Assists with general maintenance and upkeep of the ice rink throughout the shift,
• Provide high-quality customer service and effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to recognize problems as they arise and bring them to the attention of management
• Ability to adhere to policies, follow safety guidelines and exercise good judgment in all aspects of responsibility.
• Willingness to perform other duties as needed ie assisting hotel staff with clearing of patios, rubbish removal, light waitressing etc
• Must be able to provide accurate information to customers.
• Must also be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the you meets customer service goals

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
