REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ year in a supervisory or team lead role in a guest-facing environment
  • Strong understanding of health and safety in operational settings
  • Able to motivate a team and communicate clearly under pressure
  • Comfortable with basic tech systems (rostering, comms tools etc.)
  • Confident, approachable, and solutions-focused
  • Calm and organised in fast-paced situations
  • Experience in visitor attractions or events desirable but not essential
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Ice Rink Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day running of LaplandUK’s iconic outdoor ice rink. You’ll manage a team of Marshalls to keep things running smoothly and safely, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience. This role requires a balance of leadership, operations and high energy guest service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run a safe, well-organised rink operation in line with policies and procedures
  • Brief and manage your team daily, keeping energy and morale high
  • Support the Guest Experience Manager with scheduling and absence cover
  • Communicate guest feedback and report incidents or hazards promptly
  • Uphold LaplandUK’s accessibility and inclusion policies across your team
  • Liaise with other departments and keep things flowing during peak times
  • Respond calmly to any issues, including health and safety concerns
  • Take part in training and complete any required e-learning
  • Assist with VIP or PR guests where needed
