ESTIMATOR - ICI CONSTRUCTION

SSA is recruiting on behalf of a leading ICI construction and design-build firm located in Stoney Creek. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join their growing team and support the delivery of commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects across Ontario.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, in-office position that plays a key role in preconstruction, working closely with project managers and leadership to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience estimating in the Ontario market, with a solid understanding of local construction methods, trade pricing, and tendering procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for ICI construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements for bid preparation
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software
• Develop cost breakdowns, budgets, and tender submissions
• Participate in scope reviews, bid closings, and hand-off meetings to project teams
• Maintain historical cost data and support value engineering efforts
