Responsibilities

As an ICP Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing the end-to-end delivery of electricity connections up to 11KV, ensuring that every project is completed safely, on time, to strict budgets and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, providing clear and timely updates to stakeholders and ensuring all deliverables align with client expectations.
Planning and coordination will be central to your success, as you’ll lease with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. You’ll maintain tight control of project finances, manage variations and ensure procurement of labour and materials stay within budget.
You’ll be responsible for compliance with DNO and IDNO standards and you’ll manage public highway works in accordance with NRSWA and SROH regulations.
Promoting a strong culture of health and safety and continuous improvement is fundamental to the role. You’ll contribute to enhancing internal processes and best practices while documenting project progress photography and record keeping, supporting future case studies and marketing efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role you’ll need experience within the DNO or ICP environment - ideally already operating as a project manager. You’ll bring a solid background in project management and must have a valid driving licence as site travel will be part of your role.

What are your Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover, including leasing with clients, contractors, suppliers, internal teams, DNO’s/IDNO’s and local authorities.
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes.
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance.
  • Coordinating with sub contractors and clients regarding health and safety inspections and audits.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the specified quality.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

In order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of electrical infrastructure

(ICP/HV/LV) works from inception through to completion.

  • Thorough understanding of the DNO/ICP delivery process, with good knowledge of project lifecycles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle various projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Whilst not essential, qualifications such as SSSTS, CSCS/EUSR card, project management certification or an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate would be an advantage.
