· 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, or in a related position.
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and components.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ICT Account Manager, you will manage client accounts and represent ATEN in selling a range of cutting-edge computer hardware, software, and ICT solutions. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Compiling lists of prospective clients using trade directories and other sources.
  • Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to identify and act on sales opportunities.
  • Promoting ATEN’s ICT solutions, including KVM switches, audiovisual switches and matrices, intelligent power distribution units, and IT management systems.
  • Assessing customer needs and explaining how ATEN’s products and services meet those needs.
  • Collaborating with pre-sales teams to design tailored solutions for customers.
  • Developing apparatus and procedures to test or evaluate ATEN products and systems.
  • Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, completing contracts, and recording orders.
  • Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of ATEN’s ICT solutions.
  • Preparing sales reports and maintaining records of business expenses.
  • Arranging the delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and provision of services.
  • Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction, resolving any issues, and arranging modifications if necessary.
  • Providing technical training for customers, partners, and internal teams on ATEN products.
  • Conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and analysing product performance.
  • Maintaining thorough records of all key performance indicators and engineering activities.
  • Reporting updates and project timelines to the Managing Director.
  • Managing and guiding ATEN pre-sales/post-sales engineers to ensure that the proposed ATEN product solution designs or software code designs meet customer requirements in terms of both functionality and quality
  • Providing training for team members to ensure skill development in solution design and implementation.
