SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT business development, strategic partnerships, or market expansion roles.
  • Demonstrated success in building offshore partnerships or alliances in at least two of the following countries: Malaysia, Vietnam, India, the Philippines.
  • Strong understanding of managed services models and delivery operations in software engineering, cybersecurity, and/or cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing hybrid (onshore-offshore) service models.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and B2B sales cycles.
  • Ability to work independently, travel as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven ICT Business Development Manager to lead new market expansion efforts across Australia. As part of the expansion plan, You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships and Alliances in the managed service environment across APAC regions which include Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines, to build and scale a hybrid delivery model for managed services, covering:

  • Custom Software Development
  • Cybersecurity Solutions
  • Cloud Managed Services
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

This role sits at the intersection of business development, strategic partnerships, and operational design, driving growth and innovation in how we deliver value to our SME’s clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for expanding service delivery through partnerships in key offshore locations.
  • Identify and establish alliance partnerships with ICT firms, BPO providers, and managed service vendors in Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines.
  • Design and implement a hybrid delivery model combining onshore oversight with offshore service execution, ensuring operational scalability, quality, and compliance.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and partnership agreements to secure favourable outcomes and long-term collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (delivery, legal, tech, and HR) to align service capabilities with market opportunities.
  • Drive sales pipeline development through proactive outreach, market research, and lead generation in targeted sectors.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies in software, cybersecurity, cloud, and outsourcing.
  • Present business cases and progress updates to executive leadership.
