About This Role
The ICT Lead will be an experienced ICT Professional and will be driven to manage and oversee the deployment of on-premises infrastructure, cloud-based services and the end-to-end cybersecurity design and authorisation process.
This role will require strong technical expertise, leadership skills and a deep understanding of secure ICT environments to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable and compliant systems.

The role we are offering you

  • Lead the planning, design and implementation of physical ICT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking and virtualisation platforms
  • Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of on-prem environments ensuring performance, resilience and scalability
  • Ensure ICT systems meet organisational security policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate hardware procurement and deployment

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Ideally hold a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong experience in ICT Infrastructure deployment, including on-prem and cloud environments
  • Proven experience in cloud platform implementation, ideally being AWS or Azure
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, authorisation processes and compliance standards

Location:

  • Homebush, NSW
  • We operate a hybrid working approach.
  • Your role will involve some ad-hoc domestic and possible international travel

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
