POSITION OVERVIEW

The ICT Manager is responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating quality-accredited ICT and cyber security projects. This includes overseeing all phases of project lifecycles, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently, and that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in ICT project management.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex ICT or cyber security projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile).
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, application development, and/or cyber security frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage ICT project plans, schedules, budgets, scopes, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Formulating and directing information and communication technology (ICT) strategies, policies and plans
  • Directing the selection and installation of ICT resources and the provision of user training
  • Directing ICT operations and setting priorities between system developments, maintenance and operations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Define project objectives, involving relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Monitor and control project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and cyber security standards.
  • Manage and guide project team members, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
