ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a full-time ICT Operations Support Engineer to join our Business Services team here at ICC Sydney!
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the organization’s ICT infrastructure by ensuring that systems, networks, and applications are functioning efficiently whilst resolving any issues that arise and assisting with the implementation of new technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of Active directory.
  • Demonstrated ability in deploying software, GPO & configurations to end users & workstations.
  • Working knowledge of M365 services and administration portals.
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or Unix.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP), and technologies (DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge with system monitoring and management tools such as PRTG, DNAC.
  • Knowledge of Printer systems such as HP insights.
  • Understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Capacity to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in performing system configurations, documentation and troubleshooting tasks.
