We are looking for a seasoned product manager to strengthen to focus on intraday in the product management team.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Product Manger Intraday for Institutional Cash and Trade (PMI for ICT) needs to have thorough understanding of db’s technical payment infrastructure especially in Frankfurt but also in New York. Key skills and requirements:

  • Academic degree with focus on business administration, finance, or similar area of expertise
  • Experience in product management preferably for payments; deep technical understanding of payment processing, payment systems (e.g. Galileo), supporting functions (e.g. FundsRelease) and regulatory framework
  • Understanding of the drivers and the competitive landscape in high value payments
  • Strong Team Player mentality paired with motivation to work in a highly dynamic, international and diverse environment; collaborates well across the organisation and hierarchies
  • Ability to work and to perform well under pressure; ability to quickly dive into new areas and willingness to learn and take new ideas on board supported by very good Excel and PowerPoint Access skills
  • Needs to enjoy getting into the details of payment flows with strong focus on existing and emerging client requirements to identify new business opportunities to solve client needs and grow ICM P&L and to build business cases around new client products and functionalities; esp. risk management and better management of payment flows
  • Understanding of impact of payment flows on db liquidity and buffer requirements is needed
  • Basic understanding of financial risk would be an advantage
  • Excellent English language skills; fluent German would be appreciated and other language skills are an advantage

Outside of the ICT team, PMI for ICT needs to closely collaborate with ICT’s partners in Financial Resource Management, Treasury, Operations, IT/Tech, Legal and across the Cash Management franchise in Corporate Bank. There is also a strong element to work with external providers of analytics and from time to time with other Deutsche Bank Divisions, such as Investment Bank. The PMI for ICM will represent ICM in various fora and working groups that focus Corporate Bank effort in the area of intraday.
PMI for ICM is first point of contact for ICM sales force for all client related topics and will support sales efforts where and when needed, esp. looking to provide client solutions in the intraday space.

Responsibilities
  • You will take responsibility for building of ICT intraday capabilities within the product management organisation
  • This includes project management, data analytics, identifying client use cases and building (financial) risk management capabilities
  • You will be representing ICM in the relevant x-divisional working groups
  • You will be coordinating with all relevant stakeholders in corporate bank and across support functions / other business units to ensure that new products and build is fully embedded in Deutsche Bank’s risk and control framework
