ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an ICT professional who is technically skilled, highly organised, and proactive.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months of industry experience in ICT engineering or a related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing ICT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and communication systems.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VLAN, and DNS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

THE ROLE:

As an ICT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ICT systems, networks, and communication infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions whilst ensuring system security, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain ICT systems, including servers, networking hardware, and communication systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ICT and network-related issues promptly.
• Manage system security, backups, and data integrity processes.
• Conduct site visits for installations, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements.

A PERFECT FIT FOR THIS ROLE:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with VoIP systems and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Experience using ICT monitoring and management tools.
