Description:
We are looking to hire a ICT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team here at Synechron Australia!
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT highly regarded.
- Business orientation with strong IT background.
- 3+ years’ experience in development or support in banking, cards, payments, insurance or financial services environment is desirable.
- Experience working on ETL / DWH support.
- Experience in cloud services, either AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Exposure to agile or scrum methodologies.
- Experience in working in a development or support role, providing a service to internal or external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the L3 support team, providing technical guidance and expertise in resolving complex issues related to React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere.
- Involve design, development, and maintenance of high-quality applications and services using React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues in React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere. -based applications, providing innovative solutions and workarounds to minimize impact on service delivery.
- Develop and implement best practices for incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis related to React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere..
- Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and address recurring technical issues, providing feedback to improve product stability and performance.
- Monitor application performance, conduct deep dive analysis, and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere. -based solutions.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on escalated issues, resolution status, and recommendations for proactive improvements.
