We are looking to hire a ICT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team here at Synechron Australia!

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT highly regarded.
  • Business orientation with strong IT background.
  • 3+ years’ experience in development or support in banking, cards, payments, insurance or financial services environment is desirable.
  • Experience working on ETL / DWH support.
  • Experience in cloud services, either AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Exposure to agile or scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in working in a development or support role, providing a service to internal or external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the L3 support team, providing technical guidance and expertise in resolving complex issues related to React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere.
  • Involve design, development, and maintenance of high-quality applications and services using React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues in React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere. -based applications, providing innovative solutions and workarounds to minimize impact on service delivery.
  • Develop and implement best practices for incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis related to React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere..
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and address recurring technical issues, providing feedback to improve product stability and performance.
  • Monitor application performance, conduct deep dive analysis, and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of React, AWS, Control M, DWH, Share Point, Datapower, Websphere. -based solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on escalated issues, resolution status, and recommendations for proactive improvements.
