We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient ICT Support Technician to join our growing support team.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in a technical support role)
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Familiarity with basic networking and remote support tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to users, coordinating IT service requests, and assisting in the ongoing improvement of helpdesk operations and IT system reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to internal IT service requests and support tickets via phone, email and helpdesk platforms
  • Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
  • Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
  • Adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirements
  • Installing and downloading appropriate software
  • Ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment
  • Implementing computer networks
  • Maintaining web sites and manage domains
  • Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
