This true stepdown environment features a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio (occasionally 4:1) with patients requiring cardiac drips, long-term ventilators, and frequent assessments. This is an ideal role for nurses who excel in high-acuity settings and enjoy bridging ICU and med-surg care.
