We are excited to announce an opening for an ID Badge Coordinator to join our UPMC Human Resources team. This is a regular, full-time position with daylight hours, Monday through Friday. Start times may range between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. The position will rotate between the Quantum One Building in the Southside as well as the US Steel Tower in downtown Pittsburgh. At times, the position can support our UPMC Presby Badge office for coverage when needed.
As an ID Badge Coordinator, you will administer the employee identification process, which includes taking pictures, processing transactions, and distributing identification badges to multiple business units throughout UPMC. Your role is crucial in maintaining a customer-oriented experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet participants at onboarding programs and provide ID badge operation services, including taking pictures, processing, and distributing identification badges to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
  • Provide exceptional service as a point of contact for customer inquiries.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and production of identification badges for large volume projects.
  • Monitor and respond to customer requests in IMS and service email account
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of ID badges.
  • Responsible for data integrity within the EpiSuite system.
  • Keep management informed of trends, problems and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with systemwide policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Orders appropriate supplies, track inventory, and maintains operational equipment.
  • Responsible for routine maintenance of ID Badge Governance SharePoint site.
  • Support special projects as identified.
  • Quality control and process improvement.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Partnership with human resources, security, parking, IT colleagues.
  • Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year of administrative or customer service experience required,
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills required.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment required.
  • Must have basic Excel skills.
  • Proficient skills in the use of other Microsoft products and EpiSuite, or other identification badge operating systems preferred
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in the organization.
  • Must be able to work regular business hours, but be flexible with schedule to accommodate production needs associated with new employee orientation programs.
  • Flexibility involves some early mornings, late evenings, and occasional travel to other work locations.
