Responsibilities
  • College education or work experience in a related field is required.
  • Ability to translate technical or complex concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Ability to collaborate, working closely with both functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to remain flexible as priorities change, adaptable to change, and able to accept ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of application, operating system and database identity security controls.
  • Knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege access, and IAM concepts, principles, and technologies.
  • Experience in identity and access management, IT security, or a similar role.
  • Experience with IAM tools such as Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint, or similar systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with privileged access management (PAM) systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IAM (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX).
  • Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation a plus (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including speaking in front of others.
  • Must be meticulously organized and self-motivated.
  • Writing skills, a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to bring projects to completion.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to do some travel, 10% of time.
