About the Role

Working as a CIAM Tech Lead, this role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership. You will design and implement complex identity solutions, solve challenging technical problems, contribute to delivery planning, and mentor engineers while collaborating with teams across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and integration of CIAM solutions
• Develop high-quality, maintainable software and perform code reviews
• Solve complex technical problems and design advanced CIAM solutions
• Contribute to estimation, technical refinement and delivery planning
• Mentor and upskill engineers across the team
• Collaborate with teams to integrate CIAM solutions with other systems

Skills & Experience

• Advanced object-oriented programming and extensive JavaScript and TypeScript experience
• Strong unit and integration testing experience, including Jest
• Extensive CIAM experience with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
• Experience with CIAM products such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock or Ping
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Cursor
• Experience mentoring engineers and building collaborative, innovative teams

Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
