About our group: The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for delivering secure and scalable solutions that manage digital identities and access rights across the organization. IAM encompasses a framework of policies, technologies, and processes that support authentication, authorization, provisioning, federation, auditing, and reporting. Our work plays a critical role in enhancing security, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.About the role - you will: As an Identity and Access Management Intern, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software solutions aligned with IAM requirements and Seagate’s development standards. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and collaborate within a supportive team environment. Your responsibilities include:  Understand software requirements and provide task completion timelines  Design software solutions that fulfill all specified requirements, applying sound software engineering principles  Translate software designs into clean and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.   Develop integration code based on API documentation  Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions  Create and execute unit tests to validate software functionality and quality  Participate in peer code reviews to maintain standards.  Support code promotion across environments.  Maintain complete and organized development artifacts (e.g., documentation, source code) in designated repositories.  Apply software engineering principles throughout the development lifecycle    About you: We’re looking for someone who is:  Curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced technical environment  A strong communicator with proficiency in English (verbal, written, and presentation)  Strong analytical and detail-oriented, with solid problem-solving skills  Collaborative and open to feedback  Able to commit to a full-time internship based in Penang  Your experience includes: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field  Familiarity with web application development  Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc  Exposure to programming languages or frameworks such as Java, AngularJS, and/or Node.js is a plus    Location: Our Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity, easily accessible via public transportation and offering ample free on-site parking.
