OVERVIEW:

This is a 4-year program providing HHS with Application Development, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Infrastructure Optimization. We are looking for an Identity Management Engineer to be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Okta-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders, including security, operations, and application teams, to implement identity management solutions that enhance both security and user experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an HHS Tier 4 Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
2+ years of experience working with Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Okta Certified Professional and/or Okta Certified Administrator certification is preferred.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 2020

Install, integrate, and deploy Okta solutions for application authentication and authorization.
Implement advanced authentication services, including passwordless authentication using PIV/CAC/Smartcard technologies.
Design and develop technical architectures for identity management, access management, and access governance software integrations.
Document configuration and deployment processes.
Familiarity with Identity Federation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.) and integrating third-party applications with Okta.
Strong understanding of security concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, encryption, etc.) and IAM best practices.
Experience working with directory services, such as Active Directory and LDAP.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex IAM-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
