JOB DESCRIPTION

The Identity Services Business Partner role combines a unique blend of technical, business, and analytical skills to drive the development and implementation of effective IAM solutions that meet business needs and objectives. They will lead stakeholders through the requirements, design, testing and training phases of implementing or modifying our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering identity related solutions and will serve as a functional subject matter expert and client liaison for Identity Services.

Responsibilities (Responsible, Accountable, Contribute, Inform):

  • Business Requirements Gathering (R,A): Elicit and document business requirements for identity and access management (IAM) solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Business Process Analysis (R,A): Analyze and optimize business processes related to identity and access management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for automation.
  • Lead a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success, while driving process improvements, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Solution Design and Development Support (C): Collaborate with internal technical teams on the design and development of IAM solutions.
  • System Testing Support (R): Conduct thorough testing to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Training Support (R): Provide training support to end-users and stakeholders on IAM solutions, ensuring that they understand how to use the solutions effectively.
  • Change Management and Communication (C): Support the execution of change management plans to ensure that stakeholders are informed and prepared for changes to IAM solutions, and that business benefits are realized.
  • Issue Resolution (C): Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IAM solutions, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement (C): Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in IAM solutions and processes, and work with stakeholders to prioritize and implement changes.
  • Compliance and Governance (C, I): Ensure that IAM solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171 and BAE Systems Policy 902-100, and that governance policies and procedures are in place to manage identity and access.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting (R): Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into IAM solution performance, user adoption, and business outcomes, and conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management (C): Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, other IT and security teams, to ensure that IAM solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Identity Services Roadmap Development (C): Work with Identity Services leaders to maintain and execute on the strategic roadmap, aligning with business objectives and industry trends, and ensuring that IAM solutions are aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Industry Research and Trends (A): Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IAM, and apply this knowledge to inform IAM strategy and solution development.
  • Vendor Management (I): Participate in maintaining and enhancing relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring that their solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with overall IAM strategy.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of Business Systems Analyst experience. Specifically:
  • Documented process definition, workflow design, system/data and process mapping
  • Performed requirements fit/gap analysis
  • Documented functional specifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge in business process and systems optimization
  • Experience in ITIL and Agile project management methodologies
  • Guide, direct, and oversee colleagues to achieve specific goals and objectives

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Experience managing small to medium projects
  • Knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting application problems/issues
  • Proficiency in software test planning and execution
  • Ability to train application users in the use of application features, functions and best practices
