Heartland International English School, founded in 1999, is a premiere ESL school and official IELTS test centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are seeking qualified, dynamic TESOL professionals to join our team of IELTS Speaking Examiners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• an undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree
• an accreditation in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a recognized equivalent (TESL, TEFL)
• a minimum of 3 years’ full-time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience, at least one year of which must be post-certification teaching
• the majority of the above teaching experience must relate to adult students (aged 16+ years) suitable professional attributes and interpersonal skills
  Pay: $52.00 per hour (equivalent to $17.49 per interview)

• IELTS Examiners carry out in-person speaking tests for the General Training and the Academic IELTS exams.
• Examiners consistently uphold rigorous protocols and scoring criteria established during an intensive training program.
• Examiner performance is monitored on a regular basis by an Examiner Trainer in accordance with IDP IELTS schedules and expectations.
  IELTS Speaking Examinations are primarily held on Saturdays, with occasional shifts on Sundays. Testing sessions during weekdays are also offered.
