The National Learning Group are looking for 2 IELTS tutors to join our online tutoring business. We are not an agency!
We have been teaching Maths and English for around 5 years online, and everything we do is one to one. You will be allocated students who you look after long term, and teach using our software and systems. We give you all the training, support and resources to be able to teach, and ongoing support is always there for you.
You will work with your students long term, so will be able to build relationships and see progress and development.
Hours are flexible, working from home. All that you need is a quiet room, a computer with a webcam and good internet connection, and we look after everything else for you.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in English, Education, Applied Linguistics or a related field.
• CELTA/DELTA, TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous IELTS Examiner experience highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful IELTS teaching.
• Confident using online teaching platforms (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams).
• Strong communication skills with a supportive, motivating approach.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Online IELTS Tutor, ideally with a background as an IELTS Examiner, to deliver engaging, interactive and results-focused online lessons. You will support international learners at different proficiency levels, providing expert guidance on IELTS marking criteria and exam strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver one-to-one and group IELTS preparation classes online.
• Provide detailed feedback on students’ writing and speaking tasks.
• Develop tailored lesson plans and practice materials to meet individual learning needs.
• Help students build exam strategies and boost test-day confidence.
• Track student progress and provide regular updates.
