Australian Direct Tutoring is a growing education provider offering personalised academic support across Australia. We specialise in Virtual Tutoring and are now expanding our services to include IELTS Preparation Programs for both Academic and General Training students.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience teaching IELTS (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IELTS exam format, scoring, and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach students of diverse backgrounds and English levels.
• Reliable internet connection and computer for online teaching.
• Teaching qualification (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA) preferred but not essential.

THE ROLE

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced IELTS Tutors to join our team. You will work with students preparing for the IELTS exam, helping them achieve their target band scores through structured, engaging, and interactive online lessons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver one-on-one or small group online IELTS lessons (via Lessonspace platform).
• Teach all four IELTS components: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Develop and implement personalised study plans to meet student goals.
• Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students.
• Conduct mock IELTS practice tests and guide students on exam strategies.
• Maintain high teaching standards in line with Australian Direct Tutoring’s values.
