NOTE: This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph, and TESA Accreditation. As the selected Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: Perform all aspects of troubleshooting and repair to service TROJAN V1, TROJAN T-LITE, TROJAN SPIRIT, PROPHET, PROPHET ENCHANCED, iDIRECT SAT MODEM and 5650 SAT MODEM systems. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT The TROJAN/PROPHET Electronic Technician performs all aspects of system integration, maintenance, repair and training on TROJAN and PROPHET systems. The TROJAN/PROPHET technician provides support throughout SWA AOR. Specific systems may include TROJAN SPIRIT II (V)2/3, TROJAN SPIRIT LITE (V)1/2/3, and PROPHET T- LITE. Meaningful work and impact: Maintain TROJAN/PROPHET systems throughout South West Asia Area of Operations. Perform all aspects of TROJAN/PROPHET systems troubleshooting and repair to include communications-electronics, computer systems, sensor systems, SATCOM systems, optics, LAN and data communications, configuration and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, multiplexers, workstations and peripherals. Perform inspections of system components, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of modules and circuit cards to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU). Perform moderately complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test equipment to support products or product performance to validate, investigate and resolve matters of significance. Perform reset operations on TROJAN SPIRIT V2 and V3 systems. Read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings and diagrams. Perform operational test and return to service checks. Develop integration plans, perform hardware integration and manage documentation schematics and modifications. Configures computer software, communications devices, and peripheral equipment to operate within designated networks. Perform logistic support requirements such as research, and equipment and spare part inventories. Provide technical representation at meetings and consultations with clients or their representatives. Manage customer expectations as the on-site company representative. Work with minimal supervision. Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects. Document maintenance tasks via local or web-based reporting system, provides system functional briefings to customer and supervisor. Train customer personnel at the installation site in proper use of highly specialized electronic equipment. May be required to go travel to multiple locations within SWA AOR. Majority of time spent providing repairs in a shop environment and at the customer location. Performs all other duties assigned. 25 - 50% Travel will be Required to other countries WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Experience: BA/BS plus 3+ years of related experience, AA/AS plus 7 years of related experience Technical skills: Strong background in electronics, and communications to include tactical Satellite Systems (TROJAN SPIRIT II (V) 2/3, TROJAN SPIRIT LITE (V) 1/2/3, PROPHET T-LITE). Possess high reliability soldering skills and is experienced in repair of PCB Printed Circuit Boards), and in the use of Test Equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, power meters and DC power supplies. Security clearance level: Must have a current TOP SECRET/SCI with poly Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements US Passport must not expire for at least 2 years and must have at least 6 blank pages. . Desired Experience: At least seven years of relevant experience in a technical capacity whether active duty military, government service, and/or contractor. Graduate of military service technical school such as USAF 2EXXX / 3DXXX / ETC or US Army 35T / 35S / ETC or similar. General Familiarization with HVAC and Generator Maintenance 50% of Travel will be Require to Other European Countries. Candidate is required to performed other additional duties and assist other programs or department within the Organization in support of the Contract. TESA Accreditation Requirements; A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience. The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
