Job Details Position Type: Full Time Position Summary: An IFB Loader/Unloader team member at Supreme Laundry and Cleaners is responsible for the efficient loading/unloading, organization, and preparation of clean linens, uniforms, and textile products onto delivery trucks for distribution to commercial and IFB laundry clients. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper handling of textiles, and timely preparation of route deliveries while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Loading/Unloading & Distribution: Load/Unload clean, processed linens, uniforms, mats, and textile products onto designated delivery trucks according to route schedules and customer orders. Organize loaded items by route sequence to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize handling during stops. Verify quantities and product specifications against customer orders and route manifests to ensure accuracy. Secure loads properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport. Quality Control & Product Handling: Inspect loaded items for cleanliness, proper folding, and quality standards before loading. Handle specialized products (linens for hotels, restaurants, healthcare facilities, or airlines) with appropriate care. Identify and segregate any items that don't meet quality standards for reprocessing. Ensure proper packaging and protection of products during loading and transport. Inventory & Documentation: Maintain accurate loading records and documentation for each route. Scan or manually record items using warehouse management systems or handheld devices. Report discrepancies between customer orders and available inventory. Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as needed. Track and document any damaged or missing items Equipment & Safety: Operate material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts (if certified). Follow all safety protocols for lifting, loading, and equipment operation. Conduct pre-shift inspections of loading equipment. Maintain clean and organized loading dock areas Customer Service: Ensure accurate order fulfillment to maintain high customer satisfaction. Communicate any issues that may affect delivery schedules or product availability. Support special customer requests or rush orders when possible. Maintain professional standards reflecting company values Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with production teams, quality control, and route supervisors. Communicate route changes, customer updates, or scheduling issues. Assist other loaders during peak volume periods. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in warehouse, loading, or laundry operations preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines Forklift certification (preferred or willing to obtain) Basic computer skills for scanning systems and documentation Work Environment: Industrial laundry facility with loading dock area Exposure to varying temperatures (cold storage areas, warm production areas) Start times to meet route schedules (typically 11:30am -7pm) Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift Fast-paced environment with productivity expectations Qualifications
