Summary
For the program area IFF we are looking for an “IFF Bid Manager (f/m/d)” in Taufkirchen as soon as possible.
As IFF Bid Manager you are organizationally assigned to the Business Unit ATC/IFF.
The IFF program area is responsible for the handling of all IFF projects, the further development of the product portfolio and the support of the sales department in the preparation of bids.
As IFF Bid Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing all activities to ensure that bids are prepared in the required quality and within the planned cost and time frame.
Your Tasks
As IFF Bid Manager you are a member of the interdisciplinary, integrated Bid Project Team (IPT).
In close cooperation with the IFF sales organization, you will be responsible for planning and managing all bid preparation activities.

To this end, you will involve the necessary specialist departments and obtain internal bids. The Bid Manager is responsible for preparing the bids in the required quality and within the agreed time and cost framework.

  • Creating the bid book plan
  • Preparation and implementation of a kick-off meeting to inform all project participants
  • Support in the preparation and implementation of phase reviews 2-4
  • Support in the preparation and implementation of the RMC assessment
  • Preparation of the offer with the involvement of the specialist departments involved
  • Ensuring the quality of the offer in terms of technical and commercial accuracy and fulfillment of customer requirements
  • Supporting the Capture Manager in submitting the offer
  • Ensuring the archiving of quotations
  • Intensive cooperation and coordination with the sales and program organization
  • Consideration and review of any export restrictions

Your Profile

  • Degree in communications engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a relevant environment (e.g. bid management, project management in aviation, defense industry, etc.)
  • Experience in the risk assessment of projects
  • Results-oriented, structured and cooperative way of working
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of teamwork and organizational skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office and relevant tendering and project management tools
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
