We wish to appoint a IFRS Senior Reporting Associate, in our Outsourcing Service Line, in Athens. The role offers the opportunity to work with clients in various sectors. For the right candidate, the position offers excellent advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Participate in the preparation of interim / annual statutory reporting under IFRS and Greek GAAP Participate in the preparation of consolidated Financial Statements under Greek GAAP and IFRS Participate in the preparation of ad hoc management and other reporting Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate the completion of projects Collaborate in a team-oriented environment, develop innovative approaches to solving technical challenges Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in accounting with proven exposure to IFRS reporting Previous experience in a relevant role at a consulting firm will be considered an asset Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters and implementation of accounting standards in accordance with IFRS Experience of working on multiple accounts will be highly regarded ACCA certification or other relevant certification accomplished or in progress would be considered an asset Ability to apply critical thinking, attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem solving skills Proficient knowledge of MS Office (excel, word) Strong English language skills Willingness for continuous learning and development Military services fulfilled Competitive remuneration package Private insurance Flexible working scheme Continuous training and career development opportunities About Forvis Mazars Forvis Mazars is a leading global professional services network.
