Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Robert Half is working with a Cambridge-based client to recruit an experienced IFS Cloud Implementation Specialist with a strong focus on the finance modules of the system. This is a hands-on role supporting the business through the technical and functional aspects of IFS Cloud deployment, ensuring finance processes are effectively integrated, optimised, and adopted by the wider team.
You’ll act as the bridge between the systems integrators (SI) and the finance team, providing subject matter expertise, technical guidance, and practical training to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with systems integrators (SIs) to oversee and support the technical aspects of the IFS Cloud finance implementation.
  • Work closely with the finance team to map existing processes, identify gaps, and align workflows with IFS functionality.
  • Configure, test, and validate finance-related modules within IFS Cloud.
  • Provide user training, coaching, and ongoing support to finance staff who are new to the system.
  • Troubleshoot finance module issues and liaise with SI partners to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
  • Assist in developing best practice processes and system documentation.
  • Act as a key point of contact between technical teams and finance stakeholders.
