SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team in Des Plaines, Il. In this pivotal role, you will support our operations by ensuring smooth communication and coordination among various departments, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery. Must be familiar with trucking, freight forwarding and logistics. In this role, the IFTA Coordinator uses the fuel purchases from state to state to figure mileages and the use of the fuel for tax purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Manage office tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as document preparation and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries.
  • Support the management team with project coordination and reporting.
  • Utilize office software for efficient workflow management.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
  • Work with the Fleet Manager
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Work with figures.
